SBI Clerk Result
The number of candidates short-listed after the preliminary or Tier-1 examination is five or six times the number of total vacancies. If the number of candidates who write the preliminary exam is in lakhs, the number of candidates who are eligible to write the main examination will only be in thousands. Since there are 8300 vacancies to be filled this year, the number of candidates who will be selected for the main examination will fall between 40,000-50,000.

SBI Clerk Result Date 2018
The result declaration date for SBI Clerk exam 2018 is not yet officially announced. We will be updating the dates in the coming days.

Note: Results of preliminary and main are published individually by the SBI. There will be 45-70 days between each of these examination and their result publication dates. Preliminary exam results is likely to be announced by SBI in early October or late September.
Change in exam date:
A new notification has come from the SBI on February 28 regarding the change of examination dates. Earlier the examination dates were announced to be held during April and May months. According to the new notification, the examination dates are changed to June and July months.
Earlier SBI informed that admit cards for preliminary examination will be available for download from March 1, 2018, onwards. As per the new notification, the admit card issuing date is changed to May 6, 2018.
As per the new revised dates, The result declaration date will also change. We have no official confirmations regarding the date of Clerk result 2018.

The exam is being conducted for the recruitment of Junior associates, who has to chiefly deal with sales and customer support. With the preliminary exams extended, the dates of the main examination would also be extended further by a month or two. The main examination date is now postponed to August 5, 2018. SBI Clerk Mains Examination Result is the second step of the Selection process.
